History[]
Chin was Head of Chinese Intelligence who also had soldiers around him, he was also shown to be strong able to fight as well as sustain injuries. According to Taizen Ō, he has a short fuse.
As Lupin III, Daisuke Jigen, Goemon Ishikawa XIII, Fujiko Mine and Professor Yang were talking about the legend of Kong Rong in their boat, Chin and his officers had arrived in a red submarine. He told Lupin that he was a big fan of his work and wanted to speak to him, he requested for Yang to be escorted to China and wanted the crystal ball. Yang was scared thinking that he would have been sent to the People's Court and as Jigen was about to fire from his magnum, the officers fired back. Chin demanded Lupin to give him Yang. It was unknown what happened however Lupin, Jigen and Goemon were tied up and he took Fujiko and Yang. The officers then fired at Lupin's boat causing it to sink and Chin laughed as the submarine submerged into the water.
They had arrived at a hideout and the red submarine was docked, the crystal ball was put into a projector as a map was revealed. Chin wanted Yang to explain the map for him however Taizen Ō who came up in his chair told him that it was a map of the Gobi desert and while drunk also mentioned that it was where Kong Rong was located. Yang refused to tell and while a smile, Chin got out a steel girder and smashed it with his head causing Yang to get worried. Fujiko comforted Yang and he told her that he wanted to confirm Kong Rong, Chin wanted to know where the gold was buried however Yang explained that he needed the third crystal ball that is located in the Rama-ism headquarters in Tibet.
Chin and Taizen travelled to the Tibetan Mountains bringing his army with him and Corporal Lee. He thought that it was an "ominous place" and ordered Lee to march into the headquarters to retrieve the 3rd ball. Chin noticed that Lee had returned and had the 3rd ball in his hands, Yang inspected it and it was real. Lee was ready to put the third ball into the chest as Chin says with them, they can locate the treasure however it turned out that Lee was Lupin in disguise and got all three balls. He was surprised as Jigen disarmed the soldiers and Goemon using the Zantetsuken destroyed the trucks. He was angry and Taizen ordered Chin to attack however Jigen pointed his magnum at him. Lupin threw a smoke grenade and rescuing both Yang and Fujiko as Chin coughed and was angry that he got away.
Lupin had managed to find the statue in an oasis and activated the entrance with the three balls as Chin and Taizen arrived in a helicopter. They along with the soldiers tied up Jigen, Goemon and Fujiko bringing down to the golden city of Kong Rong, Lupin found the jewel however Yang betrayed him as he was working with them. Chin told Lupin "move an inch and they die" and Yang got the ball back ordering Chin to kill him. Chin jumped up and kicked causing a golden stand to be broke and Lupin running away thinking violence was wrong, he chased after Lupin. Lupin noticing Yang and Taizen fighting over the ball as Chin punched however he ducked causing the wall to break, he ran away from Chin however they broke the ball causing light to shine. He put his hand over Lupin's face and his other hand on his arm however Lupin quickly kicked him to the ground as the city had started to shake.
Chin got back up with a sore face as the city was collapsing, as Lupin was unable to escape and fell onto the ground Chin vowed that he wasn't done killing him. Lupin found him persistent and Chin told him to "go to hell" as he jumped, Lupin then climbed up a building as the roof cracked open leaking out water and smashed Chin's head with a rock however it didn't affect him and smiled. Chin grabbed Lupin as the city was flooding and tried to run from the wave but the currents got to them.
The golden city got buried along with the statue and the oasis meaning that Chin died off screen.
