Leonardo is ready to create his greatest masterpiece, the Armonia del Mondo, and uses a futuristic device to entrap all the Italians inside the Sogno Italiano, and simultaneously replicating his consciousness into the minds of every Italian. Inside the dream, he defies every Italian to beat him in the thing he's most versed, and if the challenger prevails, he'll be able to wake up, or otherwise his/her consciousness will be "reprogrammed" based on Leonardo's own, with the final objective to create a nation of geniuses with the necessary knowledge to create a new world. Notes[]

  • When Lupin wakes up after contacting Leonardo da Vinci who made him asleep is a reference to Part 1 Episode 13 where Kyosuke Mamo contacts Lupin while he was sleeping. Leonardo threatening to make Rebecca disappear is also a reference to the episode however it was Fujiko instead.
  • The eye catches for the episode feature Pycal and Kyosuke Mamo as well as the Part 1 design of Fujiko.
  • The floating castle with the toothy faced entry seems heavily inspired by Howl's Moving Castle.
