It's the third progress report and sorry to say that it has done slower than intentional, however it doesn't mean that nothing got done. To people in the US and Canada, hope you'll enjoy Lupin III: The First when it comes out later this year and if you don't... Well there'll be other Lupin things to your tastes (possible future TV series, a new Koike film, the classics you all know and love). I know people wanted a release even since it came out in Japan. Anyway...
Poll Results[]
It's been over three months and results of the poll are in:

Red Jacket wins. DEAL WITH IT.
Just kidding, it's all good. It won with 9 votes. Second place is the story focused Blue Jacket with 7 votes. Third place is a three way tie between Green Jacket, Pink Jacket and the Manga with 4 votes. Funny how those three are connected... The rest (TV Specials, Fujiko Mine and Live Action) all have 3 votes each.
The poll will keep running casually for those who want to vote and will be for the life of the wiki. The announcement of the US release of Lupin III: The First has given an idea for the next poll. People throughout Twitter have been asking for the usual cast members as they are afraid that it will be recast with different actors (just like The Fuma Conspiracy in Japan), so the poll is who is your favorite Lupin voice actor?
The choices are the main two Japanese voices (Yasuo Yamada and Kanichi Kurita), the main two Italian voice actors (Roberto Del Giudice and Stefano Onofri) and the main English voice actors (Tony Oliver, Keith Silverstein and Sonny Strait). The wiki knows that there are fans of Lupin's Spanish voice actor Txema Mosoco and David Hayter however the wiki does not have many Spanish visitors and Castle of Cagliostro was a one off.
(As a personal note, I back with the fans regarding having the usual voice cast for the English dub. The reality though is that NYAV Post most likely will be involved rather than Epcar or Bang Zoom due to GKIDS using them for their dubs. If the full cast is not possible, at least have Richard Epcar as Jigen.)
Staff[]
Due to the Coronavirus and these uncertain times, it means that more than ever to expand the staff.
VampireNaomi is now the co-admin of the wiki. Her knowledge of the series is vital to keep the wiki alive. This decision is not out of favouritism but rather chosen as there is no one better than a fan to be in charge. She is also one of the biggest fans that have used the wiki.
Characters[]
First things first, people wanted it and they got it. Hawk from The Blood Spray of Goemon Ishikawa is here. Apologize that it took so long but wanted to do him justice.
Also pleased to announce that most of the named Part 1 characters are on the wiki and one unnamed character that wasn't even in the script, Subordinate C from Rescue the Tomboy!. The only characters that are left to do are from A Wolf Calls a Wolf, Who Had the Last Laugh?, the art dealers and Richard from Keep an Eye on the Beauty Contest and Catch the Phony Lupin!. Even then most are minor characters.
Outside of Part 1 the following characters have been added:
George Marshall, Don Martino, Sherlock Holmes III (The Great Detectives Take to the Sky), Laura Jaws and Professor Hunter from Part 2.
Frédéric Hautrette and Pierre Schmidt from Part 5
Brad from Episode 0
Poison Sophie from Angel's Tactics
Even though they just missed the previous update, Onabes, Becky Lambert, Lisa Argento and Theo Argento. Relating to this Melon Cop finally has a picture.
Housekeeping[]
The Woman Called Fujiko Mine section has had an update, all the episodes now have a synopsis and some information regarding the episodes have been added. There are also minor fixes for Part IV in terms of episode names.
A page regarding Mediaset was made, people wanted it and they got it as they are important enough to be on the wiki considering they are involved in the Italian side of the series. Pages regarding TMS, NTV and Discotek might be made in the future.
To start expanding on the wiki, two important sections have been made. A Manual of Style and Name Variants. While they are both work in progress, they have a fair idea where the wiki is going to be heading. The policy of the wiki is to be free but helpful like Lupin himself. The only strict rule is Fandom doesn't allow nudity, sorry Fujicakes...
Outside myself, there have been some edits. Haltron99 has gone through the Italian voice actors section making pages (such as current Lupin voice actor Stefano Onofri and the original Zenigata Enzo Consoli) and adding pictures. Realplayer17 added the Japanese covers of Part 5 that are quite matching. Potato Pikawika has not only fixed some of my flulike typing and adding sources but also added some concept art of Lupin III: The First.
Future Plans[]
Due to ill-health, even my own health is suffering due to breathing problems with mental blackouts and there are no testing facilities where I am from or much help. Tried to self-isolate as much as I can and will be completely cut off for a month (Self-distancing for 2 metres just doesn't work where people walk at different speeds and open spaces, even in a supermarket). This means that the wiki is uncertain in terms of its future.
In terms of characters; the main focus will be Bincam and Codfrey from Fujiko's Lie, Morgana from the Lupin III H manga and the Last Job, Ofumi (Fujiko's ancestor) from Elusiveness of the Fog, various Part 2 and 3 characters however it may or may not be done. Kyosuke Mamo is going to be rewritten to go more into detail, some work has started but more to go.
April 4 is when Italia 2 in Italy will be airing Steal Everything of Lupin's so that will be updated, it is unique what Mediaset did with the episode compared to every other version of the episode.
Until the wiki picks up, there are no new featured articles. It will be reintroduced at a future date.
If there are no updates within the next three months after the last edit, the Fandom staff will have the right to orphan the wiki until someone will come with passion to take over. It's happened in the past after all...
