UTB Hollywood was the first Japanese-language TV station based in the United States that aired in Los Angeles in 1971.
The channel was notable in the US to have its first airing of Lupin the Third Part I and Lupin the Third Part III as well as airing most episodes of Lupin the Third Part II. The series only received a single run with no reruns afterwards and were in Japanese with English subtitles.
UTB Hollywood was closed after March 30, 2018 [1] and all of its social media was either inactive or removed. A successor channel called Japan Hollywood Network was created and aired on April 18, 2018, this channel currently has not aired any of the Lupin the Third series.

Censorship[]
Due to US broadcasting standards, some episodes were edited to remove nudity. Diamonds Shining in the Robot's Eye removed the taxi driver changing into Superman scene, Lupin vs. Superman was also unaired, both due to copyright concerns. [2]
This section cannot go into detail unlike the Mediaset Italian TV airings due to the limited reach that the channel had and the few fans that were able to receive the channel during broadcast were unable to record/watch all of the episodes that were aired.
