Italian[]

In the Italian TV airings, the entire scene where Lupin sleeps with Fujiko was removed. This is an important plotline as it tells why Lupin is after the golden bed in the first place, so he could sleep with her and for Fujiko to declare her love for Lupin.

Outside of this scene, there is a freeze frame when the servant reads the note that Zenigata gives to him due to Japanese text.

There is noticeable tape tracking at the top of the screen from the start of the episode and this disappears as soon as Jigen and Goemon are in the truck looking at Lupin.

Notes[]

  • The episode was originally aired in stereo however some airings of the episode are in mono as the stereo master tape was thought to be lost. The stereo tape was recovered and used in Japanese broadcasts when the episodes were remastered. The Italian and Spanish dubs are in mono.
  • This episode is one of the earliest where Zenigata's first name is confirmed as "Kōichi"; his full name is written on a card he gives the butler.
