Notes[]
- The TV Special was the first credited Lupin the Third animation to have some of the animation done in South Korea rather than Japan. Woo Lee Production had worked on the key animation while Sung San and Dr. Movie had done the in between animation, it was also one of the earliest known works from the company as Dr. Movie was founded in November 1990. The Korean animators were uncredited in the special. Due to the outsourcing, the special has been criticised for the animation and the next TV Special From Russia With Love while still outsourced to South Korea had used different studios. Outside of Sung San and Dr. Movie, the other animation studios credited for the special were not used afterwards.
- Zenigata talks in his sleep about Lupin the way he does in Part 2 Episode 13, even sitting up and opening his eyes to do it.
