Sonia Boutella aka MooMoo is a character from Lupin the Third Part 5.
Character History[]
Boutella was born on November 3, 1990 in Marseilles, France. She along with Chuck Glay (Peekaboo) and Kunal Robinson (Chap Tip) are wanted by the Judicial Authorities of the UK with his crime being appropriation of property by fraud. She has the ability to speak in French, Arabic, English and German. Unlike her associates, she is quiet and had spent her time at the library on her laptop.
Lupin III had stolen Glay's bitmoney thanks to Ami Enan as Glay contacted Chap Tip and MooMoo while swearing, she had her admin access revoked and Chap Tip noticed that their money transfer system was also hit. Glay shouted as he didn't know who had done it and then passed out that he got a virtual calling card from Lupin for his "donation", Chap Tip vowed to get him as The Lupin Game was set up. She was waiting at a train platform as she wanted to hunt the No.1 thief down while messaging Chap Tip.
Boutella and Chap Tip messaged Glay back after he retreated to a disused shopping mall knowing that it would happen with Chap Tip considered Lupin to be a pro. The Happy Death Day website was set up and Glay tapped onto the site sinking everything he had left hoping to get a return, he was also happy that the site used digital currency that wouldn't be tracked. MooMoo messaged him that the people who placed the bets and guessing was protected by private browsing with Chap Tip added that it would guess what day Lupin would die and was considered legal, yet he wondered as no one had said about killing Lupin.
She along with Peekaboo and Chap Tip had watched the livestream of Lupin and Ami getting chased, she thought that Lupin would be boxed in either way. Glay laughed to himself and thought that it served Lupin right. He was reading the comments about Lupin taking on the assassins thinking no way that Lupin would pull it off, MooMoo wondered why and he knew that Lupin was desperate. After the assassins were taken care off and Koichi Zenigata took Lupin to the desert, they watched as a Bwanda helicopter tried to take them out but they escaped from the explosion, Gray noticed that the bounty on the Death Day site doesn't expire until he is dead as Lupin hoped that it would fool the site and claims to not run out of hitmen. Chap Tip let him know that new assassins had arrived in Bwanda and she mentioned that Lupin could stay and die or go over the border to get arrested by the police as he was done for. Drone Fighter had then stopped broadcasting the stream until the next day as the Bwanda military were firing on Lupin and Zenigata then Ami took out the helicopter, Glay laughed and called Lupin "a sore loser" as two camouflaged people were trying to take out Lupin at the border. Chap Tip thought that it was too early for Glay to celebrate and she wanted "Mr. Drone Fighter" to win as Lupin was hidden underneath a rock however smoke had blocked the broadcast and they watched Lupin got shot.
When Marco Polo had reopened, Glay had managed to make over 2 million bitmoney in sales within a day despite the risks. MooMoo had noticed that they are in debt however Chap Tip thought that the gamble was needed and Glay assures that he won the game and if it keeps going it would offset the loss within a year. He then got a message from UNDERWORLD about a game of chicken and smiled thinking that it was from a funny guy but realized that it was from a girl as Chap Tip thought that it was the person who made the backdoor. Glay wanted to see Ami however both Boutella and Chap Tip backed out, she thought that it was a bad idea but he had seen it from a film and wanted to try the idea. According to other messages, Boutella called Glay a "berk".
Ami had arrived outside of the shopping mall as Glay spied on her but she wondered whether he can see her, he messaged the others that she was Underworld however MooMoo was cautious. Ami had entered the mall and sat down in a room as MooMoo was watching the events between Ami and Glay, as Ami was cuffed to a chair, the room had locked from the outside and busted pipes causing the room to flood. Ami explained that she was excited when she touched her first computer, Glay smiled at first but was surprised as it meant that she could go anywhere and meet people as her horizons had expanded. Chap Tip was watching the stream and found it the same with his first motorcycle, Ami got praise from her code around the world and people stopped treated her a child. MooMoo was annoyed and he was the same due to Ami explaining that she got information, money and security with ease. He wanted her to shut up about her life story and wanted to know about Lupin, he was bored as Ami babbled that it was no longer exciting but didn't want to change and Lupin gave her an invite to go to the "real world". He still wanted to know about Lupin but all she said was the real world was bad, it made him pissed off and told her that she was going to die but he was shocked as the real world gave Ami her high.
Their photos were then posted on the Death Day website as targets for the same amount of money as what Lupin had stole. She knew that her time had come to bail out from Marco Polo so she was walking through the library and threw her laptop in the bin, she smiled as "it was fun while it lasted". Boutella paused as Goemon Ishikawa XIII unsheathed his Zantetsuken as if she moved an inch, he will strike.
She was later arrested and put into prison, the last time she was seen was wearing a tracksuit and reading a book in her cell.
