Sir Archer was a character who appeared in Pursue Harimao's Treasure!!.
Biography[]
Former member of the "British Intelligence Bureau", Archer has inspired many young spy novelists and film makers. He is intelligent, wealthy and reasonably nimble for his old age. He loves his granddaughter Diana dearly. He owns the largest insurance company in England and his company insures some of the most famous landmarks in the country.[1]Archer lived in a mansion where he has collected vehicles however he also travels around the world. Due to his age and his health, he walks around with a walking stick to help him walk and stand. It is known that he played poker as he once won 7 billion from a game. While it was unknown regarding his siblings outside of Diana, it was mentioned that he fell in love with a blonde female Russian KGB agent and he also has an interest in Fujiko Mine who he hired as his secretary.

Fujiko went into his mansion for a visit and she was surprised by his collection, she recognised his Walther PPK that he used when he was in the service and a car that was converted during a gold smuggling case. While Fujiko thought that his collection was a museum for 007 fans, Archer corrects her that he was the model for his character and claimed to be a natural similarity. It was the story of his life when he worked for the British Intelligence Bureau. She walked towards a train carriage that came from the Orient Express saying that he has memories of a beautiful KGB spy who was passionate in love however Archer says that she was a "extra-ordinary beauty" but nothing compared to Fujiko, she was flattered thinking that it was a joke. He told Fujiko to shush as a plane was flying above them knowing that Diana was coming home and explaining about her job. They went outside and he waved to Diana.
While Fujiko and Diana were talking, Archer was outraged when Russell phoned him up and smashed his glass with his hand. There was an explosion in the Eurotunnel and the train that was travelling caved in with 87 people dead and 693 missing including Koichi Zenigata and he put his phone down. He told Diana that the cabinet had called an emergency meeting to discuss measures and going to London as he has to consult with Lloyd's of London regarding how to deal with this. While Diana was worried, he explained that surrounded in pinches is a occupational hazard. According to Lupin III, Archer was the sole underwriter for the Eurotunnel and profits however if there is a problem the committee has to pay out. If he can't pay then he wouldn't be forgiven.
At Lloyd's, Archer along with Fujiko and Diana attended a meeting with Russell. Diana asked whether he will go bankrupt and Russell goes through the paperwork that to pay for everything even if he sold all of his property, it wouldn't be enough to cover the cost. As Russell calculated that if he sold his property at a high price, it would be short by $7 billion (7 million pounds in the English dub) but Archer smoking his pipe says that he won 7 billion once while playing a poker game. Russell asks how much he lost but Archer has never lost until then. Diana was furious that since he was a corporate lawyer that he should come up with something however he couldn't and she made a sarcastic comment. Archer lit his pipe as he had a plan saying that "if my opponent is to face me with 4 Kings, I just need to put forward 4 Aces." He didn't want to do this however he had no choice as he told Russell about Harimao's Treasure that was hidden, Russell stood up as he was aware of the boss of thieves that riot over Malay during World War II. The treasure was left within three statues as Archer gave Russell a photo that was personally from Harimao of the bear, the falcon and the monkey. If Archer gets the three statues, he will know the location of the treasure however Russell already known about the treasure yet thought that it was a myth. Archer claims that him and Harimao share a destiny and got up saying that it was only 7 billion and once he gets the treasure, the debt is easily paid off however he was aware that one of the statues was stolen from a museum in Alaska. He asked whether Russell was interested and he was interested as they shook hands, Russell assures that Lloyd's has perfect trust in him.
As they left the office, Archer and Diana went off to claim the falcon statue in Amsterdam.

- Archer owns an Aston Martin DB5 and a Walther PPK, both famously used in the James Bond series. The license plate is BMT216A, the same plate that appeared in the 007 films.
- The British Intelligence Bureau that he worked for is based on the real life Secret Intelligence Service, commonly called MI6.
- It is speculated that the KGB agent that Archer fell in love with had a child as Diana has some features such as her hair color, her nose and both have light blue eyes.
- This same KGB agent is based on Tatiana Romanova from the film From Russia With Love, as played by Daniela Bianchi, whom James Bond teamed up with throughout the film.
