Roberto Del Giudice (Milan, 25 September 1940 - Rome, 25 November 2007) was an actor, dubber and director of Italian dubbing, known for being the Italian voice of the character of Lupin III.
Biography[]
After attending the National Academy of Drama, in the sixties he had a brief experience as an actor in radio, theater and television playing small roles. [1]
He lent his voice to many animated characters, both cinema and television: for example, Benny the taxi in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Zazu in The Lion King and in the sequel The Lion King II: Simba's Pride and The Lion King 1½, the second Italian voice of Miss Piggy of the Muppet Show, the second voice of Bo Duke (played by John Schneider) in the television series Hazzard, Neelix in Star Trek: Voyager, Nabeshin in Excel Saga and Death in Family Guy and many roles. He died on the evening of 25 November 2007 after a long illness. [2]

Notes[]
- He came up with the nickname of Zaza for Zenigata for Lupin the 3rd Part 2 and it became the official character nickname replacing Papa Zenigata.
- He voiced Miss Piggy in the Italian dub of The Muppet Show alongside Sandro Pellegrini (Jigen) as Pops the stage doorman.
- His final role in animation when he was still alive was the redub of The Castle of Cagliostro. Lupin is dead, Zenigata is in love was his final role as Lupin III before his passing however it took until February 2008 for the game to be released. Angel's Tactics was aired two weeks after his death and the Mediaset TV dub of The Mystery of Mamo was aired posthumously in August 2008.
- While Yasuo Yamada dubbed Graham Chapman in the Japanese dub of Monty Python's Flying Circus, Del Giudice dubbed Terry Jones.
- At 28 years, he holds the record of voicing Lupin the longest.
