• His character design was inspired by Theodore Roosevelt. The character design of Professor Lonebach was an influence to the design of Dr. Robotnik/Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog series with the bald head, glasses and his mustache as well as his build. Naoto Oshima who was the character designer of Sonic and Eggman was a Lupin III fan.
