Character history[]

Note: Since there are two conflicting English translations of Angel's Tactics and no current official translation, most of the events are by what happens in the TV Special. The voiced events are by the translation that uses Lupin rather than Lupan, it is unknown why there are two translations that have different text.

Before she was tasked to kill Lupin, Sophie did some training at a secret castle that is their base. She killed an unknown blonde henchwoman disguised as Lupin on top of a tower by a throwing knife.

Sophie first met Lupin outside of the casino that he got kicked out of, she gave him her business card as well as casino chips and invited a happy Lupin to dinner. As Lupin drove in his yellow Mercedes Benz SSK, he was telling her that he was a treasure hunter and gave her some money. After thanking him, she then asked him about the Original Metal that he replied that it was found in an UFO crash.

After being happy, she asked him his name and he replied in a James Bond style as he asked her for a drink. He takes her at bar in a tower resembling one from The Target Is 555 Meters and he falls in love with her yet failed to get hug after calling her "Sophie-chan". Before Lupin had his second drink, Sophie put poison and after drinking the spiked drink, he tells her that Daisuke Jigen has the Original Metal. Turns out that Lupin put something in him to counteract with the poison.

As Lupin and Jigen got on the plane, they were unaware that Sophie was flying as she took out the pilot in the toilet. Jigen was falling asleep on the plane and Lupin also felt tired as she put out a cigarette that contained poisonous gas. Yet they both figured out that she was flying the plane and she got out her crossbow. She then kicked the wheel and Jigen was out of the plane.

Afterwards she fired her arrow and was ready to fire the second arror aiming at Lupin's forehead but he claims that she's scared of him. She asks for the Original Metal and after he shows it hidden in his chest, she asks for the real location. Just as she was ready to fire, Jigen went back into the plane and aimed his magnum at her. As Lupin ask her what she wants to do with it, she refuses and jumps out of the plane.

The Bloody Angels had arrived on a Central American styled island in a ship, Lupin who was also on the island along with Jigen and Fujiko Mine offered to give them money but Sophie refused and they all decided to battle with each other with their chosen targets. By the ruins of an old town, Sophie is looking for Lupin but they found each other as he aimed with his Walther P38 at the back of her head. She turns her head and wants to achieve her dreams but then with tears in her eyes wants Lupin to kill her. He fired but only confetti came out.

Lupin understands and she dropped her crossbow as they entered a house in ruins. She explains her reasons for hating Americans from them being "foolish" and her backstory about her boyfriend getting killed on duty hinting that he joined a service such as the army. She also explains that Bloody Angels wanted to steal the Original Metal so they can be the leaders of the underworld and they have connections with the CIA. Lupin reckons that they only wanted a sample of the treasure.

Sophie tells Lupin that they wanted the Original Metal to become a symbol to them. While Lupin corrects her by saying that her boyfriend served for the US, she says that it was done out of retaliation. Lupin tells her that there is no need to be depressed. She tells him that it was a long time since she was attracted to her boyfriend as Lupin was flirting with her but she suggested another time. Her main focus was the Original Metal but they both agree that things would be better without it.

Within a corner of her eye, she told Lupin to "watch out!" as she saw someone coming and got out her crossbow. She was then murdered by Emily O'Brien as she shot her in the heart, before dying Sophie tells Lupin to run away. The army put her corpse in a bag and zipped it up.
