"My Wings are Scrap" is the 46th episode of Lupin the 3rd Part III.
Synopsis[]
At Fujiko’s request, Lupin steals the Hina dolls given to the US Vice President by the Deputy Prime Minister of Japan. However, the doll heist was a trap laid out by Fujiko and her partner, Barracuda. Inside one of the Hina dolls is proof of a secret military transaction between the US and Japanese government, which they can use to extort both governments. Betrayed by Fujiko, Lupin and his gang are stuck on a deserted island. Will the gang make it off the island and what will become of Goemon’s Zantetsuken sword?

Notes[]
- The title and the episode is a reference to the manga My Wings (俺の翼, Ore no Tsubasa) by Satomi Mikuriya. The manga involves bi-planes and the episode involves Lupin, Jigen and Goemon making a plane on a desert island.
- The character design of Lupin III in the episode resembles his design from Lupin the 3rd Part 2 however it is inconsistent throughout the episode.
- By mistake, Lupin III DVD Collection Vol. 56 calls Barracuda, Barracoo.[1]
