Synopsis[]
How could Lupin and his gang refuse when a church priest asks them to retrieve the Dove’s Eggs, the church’s jewels, for the sake of Spoonland’s children? The real Dove’s Eggs were swapped with fakes during the country’s civil war and are now in Prime Minister Hatcher’s possession. With Lupin’s announcement to steal the eggs, Prime Minister Hatcher appoints Inspector Zenigata and promises him the rank of knighthood bestowed by the Queen, if he successfully guards the eggs and arrests Lupin. Now, Inspector Zenigata is determined to arrest Lupin more than ever! Will Lupin and his gang pull off the charitable heist or will Inspector Zenigata become Sir Koichi Zenigata?

Translation Notes[]
In the Japanese original, when Zenigata gets stuck in a hole, he doesn't say anything as he flails around. Neither does he do so in the Spanish dub. In the Italian dub, he calls to Lupin for help.
Notes[]
- Prime Minister Hatcher is based on Margaret Thatcher who was Prime Minister of the UK at the time of the episode.
- The Italian dub title shares the same name as the TV Italian dub title for Da Capo of Love: Fujiko's Unlucky Days.
- The title is a reference to the 1955 film of the same name.
