Censorship[]

Italian[]

(Note: Since this was compared with the Italian DVDs, the TV airings might be more censored.)

  • When Lupin strokes Fujiko's leg but she squeezes his hand.
  • As Lupin waves his hands saying "Fujiko-chan" and tries to kiss her but he falls down.
  • After getting the painting, Lupin comes closer to the chair, removes his tie and shirt coming for Fujiko however she turns his back on him, says "Don't bug me, you're turning me off. Maybe some other time, Lupin", Lupin falling off the bed and Fujiko waves "Bye, Bye" then leaves the room was cut.
  • As Lupin spies on Azumaya and discovering that Fujiko is with him was cut.
  • When Azumaya presses the button, the entire scene where Lupin and Fujiko deal with the snakes was cut. The Italian dub resumes after Lupin and a naked Fujiko leave in a police car.

It is unknown whether Lupin getting electrocuted when trying to get into the mansion was cut in TV airings.

Some of the Italian audio at the beginning of the episode is poor quality having background noise such as the scene where Fujiko looks out of the window.

Notes[]

  • When Lupin uses the 3D scanner on the printer, assembly code pops up on the screen.
  • The scene where Lupin goes to a temple in Angel Island to deal with Azumaya's henchmen was inspired by the incomplete and unfinished film Game of Death starring Bruce Lee. Like the intended plotline of the film, Lupin goes through five floors and runs up the stairs after each floor.
