Translation Notes[]

  • When Jigen introduces Fujiko towards the prisoners at the prison, he uses it in the Western order of Fujiko Mine rather than Mine Fujiko. The Crunchyroll subtitles added Miss despite not saying the word.

Censorship[]

Italian[]

(Note: Since this was compared with the Italian DVDs, the TV airings might be more censored.) The first Italian dub was censored regarding suggestive sexual behavior and threats:

  • The beginning where Jigen comes out of the helicopter to introduce Fujiko as she was dancing in front then fighting the inmates at the prison was not dubbed. The Italian dub begins when the officers leave as they were guarding Parker in his cell.
  • When the prisoners tear Fujiko's shorts and her bra as she fights the prisoners, Jigen looking at his watch and firing a smoke bomb from his launcher and Fujiko dashing towards the helicopter as a prisoner tried but failed to grab Fujiko's panties. The cut was due to Fujiko's exposed breasts. This is also linked to the above making the Italian dub look like Lupin freed Parker by himself.
  • When Parker leaves the submarine, the tape recording of "Zenigata" saying "Hahaha, die! Die! Scum like you should die" was cut. While it is unknown whether it was cut on the TV airings, it was likely that Fujiko jumping into the swimming pool and find out that the sub was a trap was also cut.
  • At the beginning of Part 2, Fujiko trying to get Parker's attention and her saying "Come on Parker, do it for little me" was cut.

It is unknown whether the Japanese text was removed on the TV airings.

Notes[]

Despite being credited, Goemon is absent from this episode.
