Mistakes[]

The episode has various mistakes in terms of its animation:

  • 7:09 - When Zenigata is about to arrest Fujiko, his neck is colored black.
  • 7:16 - when Zenigata wonders about "molested?", his neck is colored black.
  • At 7:42-7:43 when Zenigata is shaking his head, his neck is colored black.
  • At 18:58-19:01 all of the runners in the marathon are bald and have the same colored vest.
  • At 19:10 at the top of the wall, one of the runners is partial drawn only showing the light blue shorts since it is cut off. The animation cel is suppose to be at the top of the screen however since it is not, the rough paintwork around the shorts and the cut off area is visible.

Notes[]

  • Goemon does not appear in this episode.
  • The commentator who is in the helicopter has a cap and microphone that says Y.T.V, this is a reference to the TV station that broadcasted the episode.
  • On the Italian DVDs, the episode was uncensored with no changes in dialogue outside of script changes however the Italian DVDs has a lip sync problem where the audio is ahead of the animation in the second part. The TV airings is unknown whether anything got censored.
  • One of the runners has a cap that says IRUKA, it is a reference to the animation studio who animated the episode.
  • Realistically, Zenigata wouldn't be in any danger from sharks unless he looked like a seal or a large fish to them. Sharks don't attack humans unless it's by accident.
  • Fujiko's dress at the end of the episode is the same one she wore in Part 3 Episode 6.
