Translation Notes[]

In the Japanese original when Koichi Zenigata is looking for Lupin III, Daisuke Jigen and Goemon Ishikawa XIII had misheard Lupin's name and say "Champagne" and "Frying Pan". On the English subtitles on HIDIVE, this exchange was altered due to that Lupin's name in the English dub is pronounced Loo-pawn rather than ルパン (Rupan). Jigen and Goemon instead say "The Loo is over yon" and "blue prawns", this change was done to preserve the word play. [2]
