Notes[]
- The episode implies that "Lupin the Third" is a title rather than a name with Lupin and Albert being rival thieves fighting over the title.
- While it is uncommon in the franchise due to that Lupin mentions his grandfather, in the manga there were chapters referencing that "Lupin" is not his real name. In the French dub of Lupin the 3rd Part 1, where "de la Cambriole" is a title that is passed on from Gaspard (Arsène Lupin) to Edgar (Lupin III).
- Lupin being asleep while bandaged up then wakes up and eating rapidly is a reference to the movie The Castle of Cagliostro.
- There are some scenes where Jigen with his hat up are animated without any eyes.
