Notes[]
- This episode is unusual for the series that it has no opening or ending. Rather like some of the TV Specials, the credits are imposed into the animation. The typed title card is the final scene of the episode.
- When Lupin hacks PeopleLog, his heads are in his previous Part jacket colors: Green, Red, Pink and Blue. The USB drive that he used had a blue head.
- Diana Archer from the TV Special Pursue Harimao's Treasure!! makes a cameo in a yellow submarine. This makes her the only character from a TV Special to return to a series. While in the Japanese original, she kept her original voice unlike many of the cameo characters in the English dub due to switching from Funimation to WOWMAX, the voice actress was replaced.
- When Kichiza Nezumi and Hirameki (Older Brother) fight each other in the bar, the screen turns into a sketchy effect. This is a postcard memory, one of Osamu Dezaki's famous techniques that featured in most shows that he directed from Aim of the Ace, Ashita no Joe 2, Space Adventure Cobra, the movie Golgo 13: The Professional and the TV Specials Bye-Bye Liberty - Close Call!, Mystery of the Hemingway Papers, From Russia With Love and Pursue Harimao's Treasure!!.
- Both New Lupin III Chapter 74 and New Lupin III Chapter 93 confirm that Lupin's regular face is a mask and that not even his closest friends or enemies know his true face, despite the fact that his son Lupin IV and his childhood self look identical to each other. The second contradiction is the fact that corpse of his clone in 'The Mystery of Mamo' had the exact same face. Third, the reveal that Lupin's face is a mask doesn't explain his ability to grow facial hair. Finally, his real face is hinted to be near identical or identical to his mask.
