Mistakes[]

  • 0:00-0:02 and 7:19-7:23 - The header of the website says G-PLAT - GAMIFICATION PLATFORM for ALL PEAPOLE, PEAPOLE should be PEOPLE.

Translation Notes[]

  • On the STACKER website that is based on Flicker, the tags say ルパン (Rupan Lupin?), ルパン三世 (Rupan Sansei Lupin the Third?) and ルパン・ザ・サード (Rupan Za Sādo Lupin the Third?).
  • While the English dub was faithful to the Japanese original with changes for lip syncing, there was a minor dialogue change. In the English dub, the exchange between Lupin and Jigen was slightly altered to make it less offensive.
English subtitles English dub
Lupin - Such frosty treatment! Are we supposed to be lovers?

Jigen - Don't be weird! We're coworkers that's all!

Lupin (effeminate voice) - How awfully cold of you! And here I thought we had something special.

Jigen - Quit screwing around, you little jerk! We're just co-workers!

Notes[]

  • The camera that Goemon tries to use is a Nikon D810A. The name got changed to Nekon due to copyright reasons.
  • Lupin's profile picture reuses stock art from Lupin the 3rd Part 4.
  • Jigen's offense at being called Lupin's lover and being teased by Lupin for it has come under fire for homophobia, especially since in earlier works the two have no problem being buddy-buddy, even intimate, with each other. [2]
