Translation Notes[]

In the Italian dub, during the scene where Inspector Koichi Zenigata talks to Lupin III, the mention that Lupin gets deported to Japan was dropped. The location of Lupin of getting sentenced to death was changed from Japan to Tokyo. The English Discotek translation translated this line to "All that's waiting for you in Japan is a firing squad" with no mention of getting sentenced to death unlike the English fan translation or the Italian dub.

Notes[]

  • In the Italian TV airings, this episode airs in between Part 2 Episode 109 and Part 2 Episode 110 rather than the correct order.
  • When NTV done the listings to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Lupin the 3rd, it had listed ルビ:カルテット (rubi:karutetto) at the end of the title. The Ruby character is to show the katakana spelling of Quartet. The reason is unknown however the romaji for (四重奏) could be yonjūsō or shijūsō and the original title had furigana over the characters. It is the only episode in the series to have an addition.[1]
  • The episode spoofs the 1955 Ealing film The Ladykillers.
  • An instrumental version of the song Lupin Ondo by Haruo MInami features in this episode.
