Translation Notes[]
Due to translating Chinese into Japanese, Chen Dongnan had become Chin Tonnan and Chun Lan became Shunran. The Italian, Spanish and English dubs had translated from the Japanese transliterations rather than the Chinese original, the Italian dub also accidentally renamed Shunran to Koran who was her mother. The French dub removed the names and instead gave character descriptions.
Notes[]
- This episode was the first animated mention of The Lupin Collection, a term that was later used in Stolen Lupin and Part 5 Episode 22.
- The English dub title is a reference to the term "Jumping the shark" which was popularized by the show "Happy Days"
