Censorship[]
Italian[]
- In the Italian TV airing, the scene where Fujiko being naked throwing a vase at Lupin was cut. The scene where Fujiko begs for the statue was edited, with her willing to pose as she prays and showing her naked to her breasts was cut. Also the picture quality during this scene is poorer than the rest of the episode hinting that Mediaset might have put this scene back in from another source and was originally completely cut out when they got the rights in 1987.
Translation Notes[]
In the Spanish dub, Zenigata's employer called Lupin a "crazy guy", while in the Japanese original he surmised that Zenigata liked Lupin.
Notes[]
- The animation on the sculpture at the beginning of the episode says J. Ulgen. It is unknown whether it was the original name of the sculptor before being changed to Bingel during the voice acting stage.
