Translation Notes[]

In the English subtitles used on Crunchyroll, Zantetsuken is just "sword" despite Goemon calling out the name in the Japanese original. The Gregor name appeared in both the Crunchyroll subtitles and officially translated in Lupin III DVD Collection Vol. 37[1] however the fan translation and the English synopsis had used Gregoire.

Mistakes[]

When Lupin rushes into the holographic camels, his skin turns the same color as his pants.

Notes[]

  • In the Italian version, Lupin looks for treasure that belongs to his grandfather Edward Roger instead of Arsène Lupin due to copyright reasons. This hints that Lupin III is using Arsène Lupin's name as an alias.
  • The episode was originally aired in stereo and presented in stereo on the Lupin the Third - The Second Series Vol.21 VHS tape however later airings of the episode are in mono as the stereo master tape was lost. The Italian and Spanish dubs were also in mono.
  • In the original chapter, the Lupin trying to get to the statue was Jigen in disguise, while Lupin was disguised as an old man trying to distract him.
