Synopsis[]
Lupin and friends searched a month for the pirate Kid's treasure, but they are thwarted by an underground organization called the Red Ghost. Knowing something is afoot, Lupin sends Fujiko and Goemon to investigate. According Fujiko's report, they are conversing with dead using psychic arts to uncover the whereabouts of the treasure. Meanwhile, Goemon gets ambushed...

- Despite the title, Lupin faces Frankenstein's Monster rather than Dr. Frankenstein however the monster is often refered to as Frankenstein due to various movies and references.
- The spirit that takes over Goemon is Goemon Ishikawa I, his ancestor.
- Millarca originally came from the novella Carmilla where Millarca was one of the three aliases of the vampire.
