The Chewing Gum Disguise Operation is the 117th episode of Lupin the 3rd Part 2.
Synopsis[]
As usual, Lupin is tossed to and fro and Fujiko. But a man named Buckingham comes to him and sells him "disguise chewing gum" for 50,000 dollars. This is how it works: you chew it, blow a bubble till it pops, then you will become disguised. While they celebrate the closing of their deal at a nightclub, Lupin falls for a dancer called Amore...

- In the Italian TV airing, the episode finishes where Lupin waves goodbye as Zenigata arrests Gasper and Amore in a police car. The scene with Fujiko and Buckingham as well as the actual ending were cut out.

- In Japan, this episode along with Part 2 Episode 78, Part 2 Episode 106 and Part 2 Episode 128 are nicknamed the "Broadway series".
- Yuzo Aoki was character designer for this episode, he came up with the designs of Buckingham, Gasper and Amore. Gasper's character design is based on Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather.
