Censorship[]
Italian[]
In the Italian TV airings, there are some changes to the episode due to TV regulations:
- The scene where Lupin and Fujiko are on the boat is edited however it is unknown what got changed.
- The scene where the pervert is in the same bedroom as Fujiko is edited. When the pervert shows his knife and slices Fujiko's bra strap is changed to a freeze frame of the master. When the pervert grabs on Fujiko and enjoys feeling her was replaced with a freeze frame of him by himself.
There is noticeable tape tracking at the top of the screen at the beginning of the episode, it briefly disappears during background scenes. It completely disappears when Zenigata and the police officer cycle together.
Notes[]
- The episode was originally aired in stereo however some airings of the episode are in mono as the stereo master tape was thought to be lost. This included the Lupin the Third: The Second Series Vol. 18 VHS tape where it was in mono. The stereo tape was recovered and used in Japanese broadcasts when the episodes were remastered. The Italian and Spanish dubs are in mono.
- This was the last episode animated by Telecom that had used the standard character designs, from Episode 143 onwards it uses the character designs from The Castle of Cagliostro.
