Mistakes[]

  • When Volvo is ready to push Lisa into the speedboat, her dress is colored purple instead of pink for five frames.

Censorship[]

Italian/Spanish[]

In the 1987 Italian redub, the scenes where Volvo shows the circular saw ready to kill Lisa has been cut out.[2] This also applies to the Spanish Telecinco dub since they used the same masters.

Notes[]

  • This episode along with Part 1 Episode 15 make up the majority of the third opening of the series.
  • The bomber's name was never given out in the episode or in the English and Italian descriptions. He is named Volvo in secondary material.
  • Volvo's mansion resembles the tower from The King and the Mockingbird, one of Miyazaki's favorite films.
  • The first episode in the animated franchise where Fujiko does not appear.
