Oscar (オスカー, Osukā) is the guest character in Part 2 Episode 101, only in part modeled after Oscar François de Jarjayes from the manga The Rose of Versailles.
Character history[]
A very beautiful and kind-hearted aristocrat, Oscar is an executive member of the Black Lily Clique, a secret society who wished to create a new French aristocracy without the monarchy.
Despite her membership in and her duties to that group, she longed only for one desperate goal in her life: being reunited with her eternal love, which ended fruitless due he was petrified by the famous Queen Marie Antoinette's jealous rage. Because still faithful to their empress just like André, and directly affected by Marie Antoinette's death, she cannot betray her memory breaking her curse and return him to a normal state. Not having other changes, she then decided to turn herself into a stone, but the only surviving sample of the secret potion was contained in a diamond set into the lost crown of Marie Antoinette, which was kept at her old palace in Versailles inside a hidden vault. She must lead Jean's storm-troopers as a brigadier general in order to obtain the fabulous crown.
At September 10, she contacted Lupin III and promised him Marie Antoinette's treasure if he would help her recover the crown. Lupin, who was to his own surprise attracted to her even though he believed her to be a man, succeeded in doing so by the next day, but then she betrayed him and the group, stealing the crown from him. Lupin managed to recover and chased after her, eventually catching up as she tried to return at the isolated shores of Normandy.
However, the group sent its own triplane squad to kill her for betrayal. Lupin ended up saving his fearful friend, as very feminine, from her trio of pursuers and paying the group back in kind, defeating their leader with the old biplane. So, thanks to her great friend, she is finally freed unharmed from her number one archenemy's tyrannical domination.
Returned in front of André's statue that same night, she and Lupin fought a proper sword duel over possession of the crown. Provided with Goemon's Zantetsuken, Lupin defeated her, thereby shredding her new uniform as captain of the royal guards in charge of the queen and revealing her as a woman completely denuded. She accepted defeat for that shame, but asked Lupin for the diamond in the crown and her second best love, excited by her nudity after finally discovered the truth, accepted.
Before Lupin, Jigen, and Goemon realized what was going on, she opened the jewel and swallowed the small potion within, before she positioned herself to the side of André's statue, of course doesn't feeling any shame for wear no clothing. As her nude body quickly turned to stone along with the statue, she finally explained her ultimate motives to a dumbfounded Lupin, before she finally petrified forever with her eyes resting on André's face, and just before the police's arrive. Their love is eternal, and nobody can interrupt it.
