Nippon Television Network Corporation (日本テレビ放送網株式会社), aka NTV (日テレ), Nippon TV and Nittele is a Japanese television broadcaster and production company based in Tokyo. It is part of the The Yomiuri Shimbun, a newspaper group that also owns VAP. NTV also has an affiliate called Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation based in Osaka that operates in the Kansai region of Japan.
NTV co-owns some of the series with TMS Entertainment. They co-own Lupin the Third Part IV (with Mediaset), Lupin the Third Part 5 and all of the TV Specials that were produced. While they owned merchandising rights to Lupin the Third Part II in Japan, TMS is only credited for the series. Its sister station YTV also has rights to Lupin the Third Part III. They also have the first run of the series or TV Specials before home releases or international releases, outside of Part IV.
