- The episode only adapts the beginning of the chapter where Jigen and Goemon are training Laurie. Page 5 in the chapter also has a matching scene in the episode. The rest of the chapter and the episode are very different to each other, in the manga Lupin betrays Laurie to steal the tape from her hair while in the episode Laurie betrays Lupin so she could get the treasure.
- On the final page of the chapter, there is a picture of the Wanderer hanging on the wall.
