Nagata is a character of Lupin the 3rd Part 2.
Biography[]
Nagata is the president of Nagata Industries. Beneath the surface however, Negata's greed possessed him into resorting to Black Market arms dealing. Personality-wise, Negata was nothing but greedy, constantly seeking to increase his personal wealth. With Maki Oyamada under his employ, Negata found a veritable treasure trove of technology at his disposal, just waiting to be profited off of. His first act was to convert Oyamada's inventions into weapons and sell them to the Japanese Military, signing on as their principal supplier.
He had a son who posed as Fake Lupin III, his employees also posed as Fake Jigen and Fake Goemon.

Etymology[]
- The surname Nagata means "eternal" (永) (naga) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta).

- Sources such as Japanese Wikipedia had him being nameless and only refered to as President however in Lupin III DVD Collection Vol. 45, he was given the name Nagata.
- His design influenced President Kusakabe from Green vs. Red.
