Middle Aged Man in Convoy is a character who appeared in the San Francisco arc of the Shin Lupin III manga and in Lupin the Third Part III.
Character History[]
Both the manga and the anime have the same story with minor differences however very little is known about him apart from being a truck driver.
While he was driving, Starmow tried to kick Lupin III out of the car as a speeding truck comes but talked instead as he grabbed him back in with the door coming off. While they were talking, Lupin also stole Starmow's gun that the convoy driver has in possession along with a photo as it hung with some handcuffs by his mirror.
When the convoy driver showed up, Starmow thanked him however he thought that Starmow was Lupin in disguise according to what was written at the back of the photo. According to him, Lupin is worth $100,000 and wanted to kill Starmow yet the gun did not fire as Lupin took out the bullets. In Part III, Starmow attacked the truck driver off screen to get his gun back as he was knocked out.

- In the manga, there is a panel where the truck driver is ready to probe a woman presumably as a flashback. This is not in the anime adaptation.
