In a hotel somewhere in Switzerland, he was pushed by a blonde woman and ordered her to stop at room 605 as she changed the room number to 604 and 606 to 605. She opened the door and wheeled him inside. As Lupin was about to unlock the door thinking it was 605, the door was open and he welcomed Lupin as he wonders whether himself or the man in the wheelchair was in the wrong room. He confirmed it causing Daisuke Jigen to get angry and Goemon Ishikawa XIII saying that it was not their room, Jigen got confused but Lupin knew that he had the number changed. He tells Lupin that Koichi Zenigata is in their room causing him to be surprised. The blonde woman tells Lupin that Zenigata is waiting for him, she takes off her glasses and winks as it turned out to be Fujiko Mine in disguise who says that if it wasn't for her, they would have been caught. Lupin asks and he says that he wants to work on a project with him, Jigen says that his target must be big if he decides to choose Lupin as a partner.

Fujiko does the curtains as he presses a button on his wheelchair showing a film camera. He shows him a Swiss bank and they are planning to steal the gold bars from the vault, he shows the security of the bank with guards and traps saying that CCTV cameras and infrared detectors have been installed. Lupin says that "it shouldn't be too difficult to crack it" but he says that it is not easy as only one man can open the vault who had grey hair, a moustache and a pointed nose. The president of the bank. Fujiko mentions that his data is on the computer and the door opens but Lupin suggests to go through an underground tunnel to get into the vault. He agrees as there was a sewage pipe nearby and asks Lupin who knows that stealing is easy but wonders how to get the gold bars out of the country. Jigen asks for his plan but doesn't say and only after they succeed, Lupin commented to himself that he was secretive.

While Lupin, Jigen and Goemon were stealing the gold from the bank, he sat inside the van as Fujiko collects the gold bars. They then arrived at an unknown warehouse as Lupin asks how to get the gold out, he points towards the furnace as he wants them melted. As the gold was the melted, he points towards the mould that was inside a box as the gold is poured onto there. He looks at his watch as the gold was set and tells them to break the mould as they removed wooden planks, hammered the concrete and they were surprised as they found a golden van. Fujiko then removed the old body of the van and replaces it with the gold. Lupin was exhausted as he finished set up the van but Fujiko gives him some paint as Lupin, Jigen and Goemon paint the gold bodywork. Lupin grumbled and looked the other way as he believes that he treats them as dirt but after glaring at him, he slipped off the van.

He was at the back of the van as Lupin drove from Switzerland, past the border and into France however due to Zenigata being at a police inspection checkpoint, Lupin decided to drive to Nice via Italy and Monaco however Zenigata was still on their tail and shot the tyres causing the van to stop on a field. Fujiko pushed him out of the van as Lupin tells him that they'll distract Zenigata while him and Fujiko should head the other way. As Lupin, Jigen and Goemon ran off, he and Fujiko looked at each other as it turns out that they tipped Lupin and his gang off to Zenigata. They took the golden van and replaced it with another with Zenigata driving it to its destination where Lupin expected the van to be.

Somewhere in Nice, him and Fujiko were sat outside on a balcony as everything went to plan. He laughed and toasted his drink. After he and Fujiko drank the wine, he was going to cash in the gold and Fujiko is willing to come with him however he moved the wheelchair facing away from her saying that he would not as she will fall asleep as he put a sleeping pill in the wine. After turning back, he tells her sweet dreams but as Fujiko was about to shoot him, she fell onto the ground tipping the table along with it. It turned out that the man could walk as he stood up, Fujiko was deceived by him and he used her to get to Lupin. As Fujiko was falling asleep, he tells her that as he removed his face mask, he was the Swiss bank president.

Outside a restaurant, the bank president got out of the van and as he was about to cross over the road, Fujiko got out of her car and he asked who was her but she knew that he was playing dumb and his mistake was revealing his true identity to her. Behind him, Lupin put his hand on his shoulder saying that he was quite an actor knowing that it was a trick. Jigen grabbed his ear but Lupin then grabbed the back of his jacket. Zenigata distracted them thinking that he has Lupin and the golden van but Lupin says that he was the one that did it and pushed him towards Zenigata who was happy but then spat out. He was then arrested by the French National Police and watched as the golden van was lifted from the sea, he then tells Zenigata that he came up with the plan but was shouted at because he was a hindrance while trying to catch Lupin.
