Makio Inoue (井上 真樹夫, Inoue Makio, 30 November 1938 – 29 November 2019) was a Japanese actor and voice actor from Yamanashi Prefecture.[1] His career began in the 60's, landing small roles in Astroboy.
While known as the actor of choice for deep-voiced, serious males in the 1970s, his two most famous roles are the titular Captain Harlock from 1978 all the way up until the 90's, and Goemon Ishikawa XIII from 1977 to 2011, inheriting the role from Chikao Ōtsuka.
