Lupin Junior (ルパン小僧 Rupan Kozō?) is a spin-off manga serialized in Futabasha's Weekly Shōnen Action magazine in 1976. It was written and drawn by Monkey Punch.
As of 2025, the series has never received an official translation yet.
Non-Canon History[]
By the time Lupin Junior was serialized, the identity of the mother of Lupin Junior was a "secret". Even when Lupin Jr. reappears in the New Lupin III manga series (Chapter 29), he treats Fujiko Mine as a fake Fujiko.
The setting that Fujiko Mine is his mother was first published in the Chuokoron Bukon Comic version of the manga in 1998 on the introductory text on the back cover.
Editors[]
Two volumes, which compiled all eighteen chapters, have been released by Futabasha on December 1976 and January 1977[1]. The second volume includes an extra chapter called "Secretary Bird" written by Kazuo Koike.
On 1984, Daitosha compiled all eighteen chapters and released two volumes including 3 chapters that never been published in tankōbon (単行本?) format: "I'm a Detective!!", "I am Mister Mystery" and "Leader of the Monkey Mountain".
On 1998, Chuokoron-Shinsha collected and reprinted the chapters in one volume[2]. Finally, on 2003, Shimanakashoten released two volumes including the 4 chapters of the Confession Series from Lupin III.
