Lupin III Official Magazine (ルパン三世officialマガジン Rupan Sansei Official Magajin?) is an official and information quarterly magazine about the Lupin III anime and manga world published by Futabasha.

History[]

From 1998 to 2001, it was published as a special edition in the Futabasha's Weekly Manga Action magazine, and was originally called Lupin III Compilation (ルパン三世総集編 Rupansansei Sōshūhen?).

In 2004, when Weekly Manga Action was temporally suspended, the volume number was reset and Lupin III Official Magazine was published as a standalone quarterly magazine. In 2008, the volume format was changed from B5 to A5.

In 2009, the magazine has been renewed and resetting again the volume number to begin with the summer 2009 issue. With the fall 2015 issue, it was announced that the paper publication would be discontinued and be continued as a web magazine. In this final issue, unrecorded works were published for the first time in 10 years, and three unpublished works of the original work of Monkey Punch were reprinted.

From January 2016, Lupin III Official Magazine was renewed again as a web quarterly magazine and serialized works from the paper edition were posted. On December 2017, the magazine was finally suspended in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lupin III's manga.[1]
