Lupin III New Adventures Chapter 34 is titled "The Funeral March of Lupin (Part 1)"
Synopsis[]
A conductor spots Lupin and his gang while performing at a concert and sees his chance to dispose of them. He directs his baton at Jigen. Some armed people surround the gunman, but he punches them away with a knuckle duster. The conductor then directs his baton at Goemon. As with Jigen, armed people surround him and he dispatches of them with the Zantetsuken. Finally, the conductor takes off the tip of his baton to reveal an arrowhead, and hurls the weapon at Lupin, who is snoring away in his seat. The thief is lassoed away in time by Goemon while Jigen shoots the hands of Lupin's would-be assassins. The conductor makes a series of elaborate gestures and suddenly the whole theater opens fire on the gang. Jigen and Goemon make their escape with Lupin, who has been woken by the commotion. As they head for the exit they're caught by grappling hooks, but Goemon slices them away.
At a hideout, the gang wonder what happened. Lupin admits he was at the concert because he found his ticket on the sidewalk advertising the Funeral March for Lupin III, composed by Ataginez. Jigen and Goemon have the same tickets, and the rest of the people at the concert were paid assassins. They figure that the music must have contained specific commands, each note corresponding to a different action, and the assassins worked in synchronisation to it.
Later, Lupin watches the TV in the bath. Another performance from Ataginez is broadcast, conducting the second movement of the funeral march, "Lupin and the Ladies." Just then, two women come out of the bath and he has sex with them.

- When this chapter was originally published on Weekly Manga Action, it was nameless.
- When collected in tankōbon (単行本?) volumes with Lupin III (manga), it became the 128th chapter in Futabasha volumes, and the 108th chapter in Aizoban, Chuokoron-Shinsha, and Tokyopop volumes.
