Lupin III New Adventures Chapter 27 is titled "The Treasure is Crunchy (Part 2)".
Synopsis[]
Lupin arrives at a cave and dodges a boulder plummeting towards him. As he walks down the corridor, he's chased by another boulder. He comes to a dead end and the boulder smashes into him. A mysterious old man tells Lupin it's annoying but non-lethal soft rock. He warns the thief that the ruin is the ultimate deathtrap, but Lupin is prepared to take his chances. Sure enough, he takes a few steps and finds himself clinging to the edge of a trapdoor with deadly spikes at the bottom.

- When this chapter was originally published on Weekly Manga Action, it was nameless.
- When collected in tankōbon (単行本?) volumes with Lupin III (manga), it became the 121st chapter in Futabasha volumes, and the 103rd chapter in Aizoban, Chuokoron-Shinsha, and Tokyopop volumes.
- This chapter has been merged with the previous chapter in the Aizoban and Chuokoron-Shinsha releases as well as the English Tokyopop translation.
- The ending of this chapter was adapted into the ending of Part 2 Episode 37, though the chapter and episode bare little resemblance to each other beyond this scene.
