Japanese[]

English[]

The English cast is unknown.

Notes[]

  • This was the first time that the manga was in English in Japan. It was also the second earliest translation of New Lupin III and before the Tokyopop translation known as Lupin III: World's Most Wanted.
  • It is the only time that Detective Melon was voice acted, it is also one of the two times where he is in color the other being on a sticker that came with Furuya Sugar Free Bubble Gum. The colors are different between the sticker influenced by Lupin the Third Part II and the animated manga.
  • For the English translation, Inspector Zenigata had become Lieutenant Zenigata. This is the only time that he was referred to this title as it was Inspector, Detective and in his spinoff manga Captain. Detective Melon had become Detective C.O. Meron.
  • Regarding the English dub, the pronunciations are different with Lupin being luːpɪn like the Streamline and Funimation dubs, Jigen being Jigan, Goemon is inconsistent between Goemon and Gohmon, Fujiko is Fu-ji-ko and Melon had become Merone. Jigen has a completely different whiny voice compared to the gruff approach that is done in the English dubs.
  • The English option is hidden in the game. To access the English translation, press the Start button during a chapter and select the fourth selection with the circle button to access the Option Menu. Then go to the penultimate option (Menu Language) and press Right.
