Lupin III Chapter 4 is titled "Please let me know his Flower".
Synopsis[]
To Daisuke's frustration, Fujiko's claims to being a rightful heir seem unshakable: Lupin's blood-analysis has produced nothing meaningful, and the elder Misumi's papers have completely failed to disprove her story. Unwilling to share any his inheritance, Daisuke calls Lupin into a secret hideaway to discuss their next move.
Nonplussed, Lupin deduces that Daisuke is about to resort to murdering his "sister"—and easily exposes the three hitmen he has hired for this purpose, gunning down two of them on a whim. Lupin then takes the surviving hitman into his confidence, hatching a new scheme to force the truth out of Fujiko.
On Lupin's orders, the hitman confronts Fujiko in her bedroom. Unintimidated by his threats, Fujiko begins her usual offer of sex—only for him to bind her to her bed and brandish a syringe full of truth serum. Should she refuse to cooperate, he warns, the serum will not only cause horrific pain, but permanent disfiguration.
As a panicking Fujiko renounces her entire story, Lupin and Daisuke secretly record everything on a tape player. Afterwards, Fujiko is further horrified to learn that the hitman means to rape her despite her cooperation; instants later, a shadowy figure knifes the hitman in the back, killing him instantly.
Recognizing both her savior and the current situation, Fujiko frees herself and calls the police. Soon, Zenigata and his squadron descend on the manor—only for Daisuke to forbid them from arresting Lupin, as he wants both parties as witnesses to Fujiko's confession. However, when he plays the tape for all of them (his father included), he is shocked to hear himself, confessing to murdering and impersonating the real Daisuke.
As Daisuke furiously denies everything, the tape confesses to another murder: the hitman in Fujiko's room. Shortly after Zenigata's men find the hitman's body, Lupin presents a clear-cut photograph of Daisuke committing the murder, effectively sealing his guilt.
With his employer now under arrest, Lupin flees the scene, Zenigata in hot pursuit. Eventually, the inspector is headed off by a pre-hired body double, allowing Lupin to sneak back into the manor—where Fujiko deduces that he had killed the hitman, and manufactured every piece of evidence framing Daisuke, all to ensure she would receive the inheritance and be indebted to him.
Impressed by his sheer cunning and ruthlessness, Fujiko promises Lupin a stake in the inheritance—and many a night of lovemaking, starting now.
