- When collected in tankōbon (単行本?) volumes, it became the 64th chapter.
- The original Weekly Manga Action issue categorized this as the second chapter of the Mortarboard Series however when it was collected into volumes, this was dropped moving the other chapters around in the manga.[1]
- In this chapter Koichi Zenigata is called Heitaro Zenigata. This is where both Lupin III and Zenigata first meet. The name Heitaro was not only dropped but in anime adaptations up to Lupin the 3rd Part 2, he was Heiji Zenigata VII and the name was reverted back to Koichi from Part 2 onwards outside of the movie The Mystery of Mamo.
- The Tokoypop English translation translated the Chivalrous Thief Club as the Master Thief Club, the Italian translations use the Gentleman Thief Club.
