Let's Kaitou! Nusumi Kei!? Ano no Ko no Heart no Nusumikata, Oshiemasu is a hentai comedy visual novel released in 2010 by SQUEEZ.
Synopsis[]
Tomoki comes from a family of second-rate thieves and is relatively normal aside from his skill in billiards. In order to become a first-class thief, he enrolls in the famous thief school Kaisei Higashioka Gakuen, otherwise known as Kaitou Gakuen. Surprisingly, he ends up in the same group as Ai, a descendent of the world-renowned thief Arsène Lupin, as well as her friends, revolver-toting Ooka and sword-wielding Koyomi. At Kaitou Gakuen, in addition to normal classes, there is a ‘hands-on stealing’ class and subsequent test, which is full of ecchi traps. Will he be able to help them steal the targeted treasures with his superior decision making? How will things end up when their rival group Cats Pad and various detectives and other mysterious thieves also get involved?[1]
Connections to Lupin III[]
Most notable about this eroge game is that it parodies Lupin III, depicting female versions of the characters, with Ai Rohan, Ooka Tsugimoto, Koyomi Ishikawa, Fuuko Mineyama and Otome Zenigata being parodies of Lupin III, Daisuke Jigen, Goemon Ishikawa XIII, Fujiko Mine and Koichi Zenigata, respectively. The character Ai Rohan is a descendant of Arsène Lupin and even dons Lupin's red jacket outfit from the specials. A supplemental comic shown on the game's official website depicts Rohan changing into a green jacket. One scene in the game shows Koyomi slicing anvils the way Goemon does in Part 1 Episode 5 and fighting off a person dressed as Mamo. Like Lupin, Rohan shows an aversion to octopus, and during a heist, Otome attacks her with similar octopi to the one Zenigata used to catch Lupin in Part 2 Episode 143. Another scene in the game shows Rohan and Tsugimoto fighting over yakiniku the same way Lupin and Jigen fight over spaghetti in The Castle of Cagliostro, or over sukiyaki in Part 2 Episode 145.
Trivia[]
Though the kanji of her surname is different, Rohan really is distantly related to the French Rohan family, since Lupin III's great grandmother, Henriette D'Andresy, is a distant cousin of the Count of Dreux-Soubise.
Reception[]
The website Hau~ Omochikaeri!, which showcases and reviews eroge games, described it "an ecchi festival involving a Lupinesque plotline", noting that much of the appeal to Lupin "has been lost with this game".
