Kaikin Horino is a character from Lupin the Third Part I.

History[]

Kaikin was a mercenary who worked with Fujiko Mine to get the scrolls that contained the secret of the Zantetsuken. He had arrived at the trial along with Hanji of Annaka, Akabe Shishibana, Shishamo of Hokkaido and Fujiko who posed as Ginco Fujinami. He sat down waiting for his turn as Shishamo was taken out by Goemon Ishikawa XIII, he was the next to be called for and stood up and marched to take on Goemon however his off screen weapon broke and was knocked down to the ground.

At night time as Lupin III sneaked into a house to get Fujiko's attention, him along with Akabe and Shishamo surrounded Lupin with their weapons. With the back of his machine gun, Kaikin had taken out Lupin. When the package from the plane was dropped, they were happy as the box contained machine guns and grenades. Unlike the other henchmen who pursued with Fujiko to get the scrolls, he had left for unknown reasons as he didn't appear in the rest of the episode. As a result he was the only henchman who was still alive as Goemon had killed them.
