Jean Pierre is a character from the TV Special The Secret of Twilight Gemini.
Appearance[]
Jean wears an olive green suit and wears oval glasses. His hair is combed, also having a mustache in the same style.
History[]
Jean Pierre is the demanding chief Commissioner of the ICPO, he is stern and driven by political motives. He insisted that Zenigata tracks down Lupin III in Morocco but just below his official façade, lurks a darker side that Commissioner Pierre masks from those who know him.[1]
According to the Police Chief in Morocco, Jean's grandfather was considered a hero to the outlanders as he was a commander that defeated the Gelts.
He had attended the same school as Galoux who was the son of the Elder from the Gelt tribe in France, Galoux told Jean about the treasure and died. Jean later took Galoux's name and hired Sadachiyo as an assassin, he also recruited a gang that wore white hoods. He adopted a second identity being a leader of a religious cult, calling himself an "archbishop".
Zenigata reported to Jean regarding his failure to arrest Lupin on the train and attacked an unknown gang, Jean told him to keep pursuing Lupin in Morocco while he handles the gang.
As Zenigata was talking to Lupin in disguise, Jean had arrived in his car and Zenigata reported sightings of Lupin however was unable to find him and Lupin was being pursued by someone. Jean was unaware of this and told Zenigata to catch Lupin however he was curious about a passerby. He had arrived at the nearest police station as the Police Chief reported that Lupin had reached the Gelt quarter of the city, he was also frustrated as he wanted the Gelts to be dealt with. Zenigata wondered why but Jean just told him that outsiders wouldn't understand and also told the Chief that he was just interested arresting Lupin dismissing family history.
Lupin discovered Jean and his plan, Jean got Lara claiming that he will give up the treasure for now and ripped her shirt as he wanted her half of the Twilight Gemini, he wanted to shoot Lara and told Lupin that they should share the treasure together. As he laughed, he was murdered by the Elder who shot him with a bullet to the head. The Elder wanted to avenge Galoux's death. The helicopter that Jean was going to fly on then crashed and exploded.

- On the credits of the TV Special, he was credited as ジャン本部長. 本部長 (Honbuchō) translates as either general manager or chief.
