Jean (ジャン, Jan) is a character in Part 2 Episode 101. He is the main antagonist of the episode.

Character history[]

Jean is the leader of the Black Lily Clique, a secret group based in Paris, in an old style office at the Eiffel Tower top. He is a corrupt man, with the old aristocrat garb, who had betrayed the French royalty in order to reassemble the aristocracy of Marie Antoinette's time. His goal is to become himself the absolute leader of a new French aristocracy without the monarchy.

At noon, he arrived in a stagecoach at the isolated shores of Normandy and ordered Oscar that, once taken the lost crown of Marie Antoinette from Lupin III, she will bring that ancient treasure to the Black Lily headquarters, in order to realize his purpose.

After stealing the crown from Lupin, who stole it from Versailles palace, she contacted him who is leaving the Black Lily, as she was not interested in restoring the aristocracy and wanted to stay forever with André. He was furious and saying that she will die for betraying them. He also laughed that she was going to fly in a rickety old plane to escape from him, but that didnn't stop her from finding her happiness and she closed the phone. He commanded three pilots to take out Oscar in her plane, however she dealt with them with her friend Lupin's help, who easily takes out two aircraft on the sea.

As they reached the streets of Paris, he looked at his binoculars. Lupin gets rid of the remaining lead plane by crashing it into the Arc de Triomphe, without hitting anything, and then decides to pay a personal visit to him by steering the plane directly to his headquarters to take care of him.

He screamed as Lupin and Oscar smashed through the window. He grabbed on the propeller and, as the plane stopped, dropped down with his wig coming off. After Lupin joked about his wig, he was left to his pathetic death.
