Hatler is a character of Lupin the 3rd Part 2.
History[]
Hatler was the leader of the Gelhalt Party who is very animated in terms of his movements and had a loyal general called Hess. He is hotheaded and has a high opinion about himself, he also has a globe in his office that also causes him to be clumsy.
He held a speech in an unnamed European country that attracted a massive audience. After stroking his hair, he declared that the Gelhalt race are to rise up to rule the world banging his fist onto the stand. As he wobbled on the stand, he says that "we" are the most intelligent, the most historic and the most beautiful. He saluted and the crowd cheered making him content. As the press were taking photos from their helicopters, Lupin III was going to steal the 50 carat ruby that was put on a medallion on his chest as he thought that "our" people are the most beautiful in the world and must get rid of the ugliness in the world and saluted as he wanted the crowd to agree, he adds that ugly people shouldn't be leaders and beautiful people should be leaders of the world. The crowd held up pictures of him and chanting "hail to the leader". He declared himself to be the leader when Lupin lowered his fishing rod to steal the ruby however a gust of wind moved the hook to his hair and took off his wig. The crowd stopped cheering and was embarrassed then they started laughing at him and hid underneath the stand ordering Hess to fire at the helicopter.
Afterwards he got a new wig and retreated to his office listening to Nazi-esque music, he sneezed thinking that someone was talking about him as Hess picked up and hailed over his photo. Hatler was annoyed about a "sneaky bold faced thief" and thought that his name was Lupin III, in anger he picked up a quill getting onto this table and busted his globe vowing to kill him but caused him to fly back and landed on the floor. As discussed by Fujiko Mine to Lupin, any one who says something bad about Hatler is subject to treason with the worst crime being executed.
Hess reported to Hatler via the radio that he is sending three troops from the commando troop to deal with Lupin, he replied that failure is not an option and he understood. He then switched off the radio and fiddling with his fingers that he will regain his reputation, he then decided to play his record player with the Japanese song "You are the King of Kings" playing while going to hug his globe saying that he will make the world "mine". Hatler was playing with his globe like a ball however the globe hit back causing him to fall onto the floor with his wig off. He then vowed to kill Lupin.
Over the radio, he ordered Hess to dispatch the tanks. He then fiddled with his fingers as he was waiting until dawn before Hess would fire at the castle where Lupin and Fujiko were held. Since Lupin and Fujiko got away thanks to a balloon that Daisuke Jigen and Goemon Ishikawa XIII had made that had the image of Hatler, he was furious that they got away and asked whose fault it was. Hess replied that it was him and since he angered the "Führer", he was given the death penalty.
Hatler returned in Part 5 Episode 21 as a cameo where his baldness was exposed via the PeopleLog app.

- He is a parody of Adolf Hitler who was leader of the Nazi party and based off from his appearance in the film The Great Dictator. The Gelhalt party is a reference to the Nazis.
