Guz is a colonel and his daughter is Michelle Kyuick. In the past, he had a wife however he was very busy running his business and she had died. He appears to be very cold emotionally.
He interrogated Lupin who knew that he was a well renowned thief around the world but Lupin says that he was just looking after a client. Gaz thought that it was a lie yet Lupin says if he knows him then he would know that Lupin treats ladies "nicely", he knows that Lupin scores with women causing Lupin to sigh. He thought about Lupin wanting to rescue his client but what Lupin was really after, Lupin scratched his head using his foot as if he likes something, he will steal it whether it was a ten cent ring or the finest lady in the world. Guz ordered his henchmen to make Lupin talk by putting a pill into his mouth yet rejected by a special false tooth, the tablet makes someone drowsy and getting a person to tell the truth. He asked Lupin what he really wanted but instead Lupin asked what he wanted. He knows that Jigen and Goemon were on the move but Lupin knows that they will come for him. Fire comes from behind and Guz looked at him, Lupin wanted him to say hi. He asked about Jigen and Lupin nodded, it was enough and ordered his henchmen to take Lupin to his cell.
