English translation[]
You smile and go beyond the wind, Your encounter is only once And you just leave the scent of future And goes back on a journey Goodbye, you gave love to my chest Without stealing it I have a dream in my heart That no one can take away The gift That you gave me Will shine tomorrow There are nights I closed my eyelids Because I couldn't put it into words Still, I have hope now, And I'm going on a journey Thank you I hope my voice will reach you Someday on the wind I have a dream in my heart That no one can take away I also give you a prayer That will warm you tomorrow good bye I'm sure the time will come When I think of you in the wind I have a dream in my heart That no one can take away The gift that you gave me Will shine tomorrow Will shine tomorrow

Notes[]
- Because The First heavily takes from The Castle of Cagliostro, the soundtrack of the movie was intentionally made to mimic nostalgic Shōwa post-war era jazz compositions, particularly Cagliostro's theme song Fire Treasure.[2]
- Both songs use a 3/4 time signature and share similar instrumentation and purpose in their respective stories, being used as a motif for the female main character introduced in the story (Clarisse de Cagliostro and Laetitia Bresson, respectively) and showing up in different points of the story but as shorter, calmer rearrangements.
