George Takigawa is a character of Lupin the 3rd Part 1.

History[]

George Takigawa is the owner of the Takeda ranch and while not mentioned, it is implied that he is a crime boss who is known to have three henchmen around him. They are Sabu, Subordinate A and Subordinate C, the latter two their names are unknown.

In the past in Paris, George was a thief along with Lupin II and his partner Ken Makita. George ordered Ken to steal something however since Lupin II died, Ken retired being a safecracker. Since Ken refused, George invited Rie Makita and took her to his ranch. He then hit Ken in the head with his gun who then begged him to do anything he wants so George claimed her as his niece.

In the ranch, he asked Rie why she wanted to go home but she missed her dad. He pleaded her to stay but she really wanted to go home. Before he could lie about Ken, Lupin III comes and tells her that her dad wants her to come home as he is not as nice as he appears. So Lupin takes her as George shoots at him, he ordered his henchmen to stop Lupin as he escaped on horseback.

While Lupin tries to drive the Fiat 500, George and his henchmen fire with their shotguns in an open truck. Rei waves at George but Jigen pulls her down and fires from his magnum at one of the tires causing the truck to crash into a field.

As Lupin takes Rie in a tractor, George spotted her in his helicopter when she waved back. She nearly climbed onto the ladder but Lupin refused and turned around. He ordered his henchmen to fire at Lupin but ends up firing at Koichi Zenigata and the police as he didn't want the cops to have her.

With his binoculars, he spots Lupin driving a train and decided to follow. He then lowered the helicopter and sent two of his henchman to be at the top of the train to shoot Lupin.

Later on with an almost fully damaged speeding train, George parked the helicopter on the train tracks and got his last remaining henchman to plant a bomb on the train tracks but Lupin drove too fast and it missed. Zenigata and the police ended up falling in the hole. There was another explosive planted but Lupin escaped that too.

George managed to sight Lupin still in his helicopter and ordered Rie to go to him otherwise he will shoot her alongside Lupin. He ended up shooting them as they hid behind a rock but ordered one of his henchmen to stop shooting. The plan was to park on the clearing however Lupin using a catapult fired a tree at the helicopter causing it to lose control and crashed. He survived along with his henchmen.
